A medium sized flintlock easily carried and concealed in a 18th century outer garment. A high quallty lock, with a graceful swan neck hammer, a replaceable roller on the frizzen spring to ease function and reduce wear on the spring, a tear drop at the butt end of the lock plate to aid alignment of lock plate. Silver insert touch hole, with the addition of some fine line hand engraved decoration. Walnut stock with slightly flared butt with engraved cap, silver wire inlays opposite side of the lock, hand checkered grip, decorative ramrod ferrule, turned knops at the tip of the iron ramrod. Flared and stylized trigger guard with engraved decoration, Octagon barrel with flared muzzle, notched rear and barley corn type front sight. Approximately .57 caliber rifled barrel. Logo on top barrel flat with stamped oval cartouche.

Would rate very good for it's age. Small wood repair at barrel wedge.
