• Lot Description
  Of cylindrical form porcelain teapot with fitted flat border lid, yarn wrapped metal double handle, pronounced spout, Famille Vert, depicting in polychrome a figure at a desk with an attendant standing by. Decorated in blue, green, purple, and rust colored orange with floral vines and butterflies. Iron red stamp to the underside: "Made by Wang Yongshun (the craftsman’s full name)". Provenance: Life time collection, Ben H. Richman, businessman and philanthropist, Pittsburgh/ Washington, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Overall good antique condition. Some fading and wear to polychrome, glaze skip around rim, minor firing flaws, no repairs or cracks. Small flea bit to rim lid.
