• Lot Description
  Of cylindrical form patinated gilt copper alloy tea caddy with fitted lid, set with open work carved hand stone floral-foliate design with glass backing, bejewelled bezel set with oval and round carved pink quartz with floral-folate motifs, hand cased designs on the body and lid border; marked on the bottom "Made in China". Provenance: old private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Condition

  Good, nice even patina, some wear to gilt commensurate with age and use.
