  Four-panel screen, black lacquered frame with hand-painted watercolor and gouache on silk panels depicting birds and butterflies amongst blossoming flowers. Signed upper left corner: "Fantastic scenery and auspicious atmosphere / Written by Shuqin (the author’s surname, which probably refers to She Shuqin, a female painter of flower and bird paintings, born in 1964)" with Shuqin’s seal. Crown Colony Imports label verso. Provenance: Life time collection, Ben H. Richman, businessman and philanthropist, Pittsburgh/ Washington, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.
