• Lot Description
  Well-proportioned porcelain heavy large deep bowl with tapered border and pronounced rim, hand enamelled in polychrome, depicting in reserves Imperial court scenes alternating with reserves depicting blossoming floral-foliate design with exotic birds and butterflies, fine gilt green background with Awabi bats, butterflies and floral motifs, double key-feet border on the inside, gilt highlights throughout; unglazed rim foot. Offered on carved light wood stand with gilt finish over copper red lacquer, 13-1/4" x 3".

  Condition

  Good overall, very old professional restoration to bowl, wear and small losses to stand.
