  Of rergctagulr form four-panel varnished wooden screen, masterfully hand carved depicting different figural court scenes with pavilions and temples in landscapes on the background in the main panels; figural groupings in landscapes on the lower panels; key-fret and floral designs along borders with "Double Happiness" symbols throughout; reverse finished with black lacquer. Provenance: Life time collection, Ben H. Richman, businessman and philanthropist, Pittsburgh/ Washington, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.

  Good, light wear and small losses, distress separation on one panel back near hinge.
