• Lot Description
  Chinese porcelain tureen, crafted in the classic blue and white palette, is an example of Qing Dynasty artistry, likely dating to the 19th century. The piece is decorated with scrolling floral motifs. The tureen features curved handles and rests on three small feet, with a domed lid topped by a sculptural handle. The underside bears a four-character mark in underglaze blue, which may be an apocryphal mark, referencing earlier periods, a common practice in the 19th century to honor classical designs.

  Condition

  Good overall, with minor wear commensurate with age. No visible cracks or repairs. The glaze remains smooth and lustrous.
