  Traditional hand embroidery with gold and silver color metallic wrapped silk threads on plush velvety cotton foundation. Very finely hand-embroidered rug. Field with central multicolor medallion ruby red background; corner guards with floral vases; ruby red border with fringe all around. Uzbekistan, ca. 1920's/1930's
