• Lot Description
  10k rose gold two antique Masonic medals, including: presented to J.A. Minges, 1905-1906 at A.F.M. Charleston, SC, "La Candour Past Master Medal, of elegant exquisite open work design with masonic symbols and hand chased design, bezel set with round cabochon cut moon stone, apprx. 6 mm, apprx. 4" x 1-7/8"; and second medal - 1903 Combahee Mounted Rifles medal, apprx. 1-7/8" x 1-1/4"; overall total weight 28.8 gm. Offers with original presentation case (deteriorated, but present), and calendar page with pencil inscription "Elected to life membership Nov. 8, 1907." Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, acquired at Cowan's auction in April 2020.

  Condition

  Good antique condition, gold purity multiple X-ray machine tested, nice patina, solder and darken spots and some oxidation commensurate with age and use; case deteriorated, but present.
