• Lot Description
  The central field features large, bold geometric patterns, including a central diamond medallion and multiple stepped or hooked motifs. These motifs are framed by additional angular patterns, with secondary symbols filling the surrounding space. The mihrab design has a tribal, almost architectural aesthetic, with symmetry typical of rugs from nomadic or village origins. Predominantly red and rust tones, with accents in blue, ivory, and hints of green. Caucasian, ca. 1900's
