  Medium low dense silky wool lush pile on cotton foundation. Very finely hand-knotted rug. Field with central complex multicolor medallion with extensions and floral palmettes designs on ruby red background; borders with floral serpentine motifs on ruby red and blue background; new fringe at both ends. Persian, 1920's/1930's

  Condition

  Overall very good antique condition, latter addition new fringes, some sporadic wear in areas commensurate with age and use.
