  Medium low dense silky wool lush pile on cotton foundation. Very finely hand-knotted rug. Field with complex multicolor floral palmettes designs on salmon background; corner guards; multiple borders with floral serpentine motifs on navy blue, ruby red and blue background; no fringe at both ends. Persian, ca. 1910's/1920's. Signed. Retail $25,000

  Condition

  Overall good antique condition; sporadic wear in areas, fading concentrated to one side due to sun exposure, some stains, losses to fringes commensurate with age and use. Would recommend a cleaning.
