  Elegantly hand potted porcelain basket centrepiece vase with flared open work body and serpentine rim, raised on baluster stem and square base, hand painted with floral-foliate design with gilt highlights throughout; marked " Limoges Authenique" and inscribed "EG hand painted" under4neath. Provenance: old private collection of Mr. & Mrs. Norman & Lilian Daniels, President of H.J. Heinz Co. (1969-1971); by descent in the family to the current owner; wedding gift from Mrs. Cliffortd H.
