  Low dense silky wool lush pile on cotton foundation. Extra fine hand-knotted rug. Field with central complex multicolor floral palmettes and birds designs on gold ivory background; multiple borders with floral palmettes serpentine motifs on maroon ruby red and blue background; new added fringe at both ends. Persian, ca. 1900's. Retail $22,000
