  Traditional hand made Samurai doll with painting glass eyes, wood, gesso, polychrome pigments, paper, silk and mix metals; exquisitely crafted with minute attention to fine details; old typewriter paper label "1 pc Antique Japanese doll 1910" attached to one foot bottom. Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA; acquired from Estate of Mrs. Heinz (Senator John Heinz's mother) at Field Country Club, Fox Chapel, PA).

  Good antique condition, wear and losses throughout commensurate with age and use.
