• Lot Description
  Full figure form of a young girl reading a tome to her younger brother. The art is highly detailed in facial expressions, hair, fingers and toes, The young girl's torso, has expected muscle depiction. Both are scantly clad in flowing fabric. Would make a simple yet elegant addition to the foyer or solarium. Inspired by the art of Pietro Magni a 19th century sculptor, executed by 20th century sculptor Lorenzo Dal Torrione. A 24" example of Torrione's work sold at auction in 2020 for $1600. Weighs 58 pounds.
