• Lot Description
  "The Rejection of Joachim's Offering, from The Life of the Virgin", (B. 77, M. 189), c. 1504 (1511 edition). Woodcut on laid paper with the Latin text verso, artist's monogram lower center within image, trimmed to the borderline on all sides, collector's mark verso for Alexandre Evguenievitch Marine, and written in pencil "A.E. Chapunk", no watermark found, matted under glass in gilt frame, overall 21-1/2" x 17-1/2".

  Condition

  Overall very good, slight discolorations to paper, some scuffs to mat board, trimmed to border on all edges.
