A remake of an Victorian era clock in unpatinated bronze, with beveled glass panels. Cast multi piece base and top, decorated with egg and dart border, floral finials, topped with an urn. Hand painted porcelain pilaster inserts featuring roses and gold scrolls. The white porcelain dial has stylized arabic numerals for all chapters. All minute hash marks on a continuous gold painted circle at the dials edge. In the center of the dial is a hand painted scene of a putto in flight pursuing a swallow. A hand painted crescent shaped porcelain insert above twelve, details two recumbent putto gathering flowers. The porcelain insert for the urn displays a putto on the facia, and instruments on the reverse. The clock is powered by an 80 mm Japy type movement striking on the half and full hour. Clock running at inspection, but not tested for accuracy (view video). Checked all pivots for chimes. Can manually manipulate; and strike the gong. The chime spring is either broken or off the arbor.
