Cut reclaimed paper. Flax uses scissors to cut reclaimed paper (recycling magazines, catalogs and calendars). Each piece is individually cut for a particular shape, and applied with glue in brush-stroke-like patterns, which reference the natural shapes and movement in the landscapes they depict.
