The Artifact Color Series, begun in 2018, represents an expansion and focus on my painterly process and my ongoing studies involving the concept of ‘Phenomenal Transparency’, with opaque mixtures achieving the illusion of transparency in the medium of oil paint. They are inspired by Josef Alber’s ‘Homage to the Square’ series. These collages are created entirely with painted woodblock papers. At the end of a painting session in my studio, I have color mixtures left on my palette. With a palette knife I lay these mixtures onto woodblock papers and layer them to achieve this transparency effect.

Purchased items from the Artists Talk On Art, Inc. auction will be shipped from artists or donors locations, generally within ten business days of the auction. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a UPS or FedEx packaging store or by the artist or donor. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received and cleared. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser should special arrangements be required such as crating. International shipping may require additional steps and, at times, costs. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Artists Talk On Art, Inc. (ATOA) does not itself pack or ship art and will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items
