• Lot Description
  Covered with abstracted images of 'kiku,' or chrysanthemum flowers, this one of a kind is jacket is sewn from a vintage Japanese kimono. It can be worn with or without its matching belt. It is fully lined with silk charmeuse and closes with 4 buttons. It has front pockets.

  Garment measures 43 inches bust, 46 inches hips, length at center back 31 inches. Size small. [Approximate industry size 12.]

  $750

  All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this trench coat was woven, stenciled and painted by Japanese artisans and sewn into a kimono. I removed the hand stitching, washed and prepared the fabric and sewed it into my trench coat design.

  Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
