• Lot Description
  A one of a kind, vintage Japanese, kimono silk trench coat. This gorgeous fabric is covered with cranes, pine trees and ocean waves. I've re-aligned the designs so that the cranes, their wings and the pine branches are scattered over the jacket. Glittery gold paint highlights the designs. There are angled pockets on the front. Fully lined with silk charmeuse. 4 vintage glass buttons line the front.

  Garment measures 43 inches bust, 46 inches hips, length at center back 31 inches. Size small. [Approximate industry size 12.]

  All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this trench coat was woven, stenciled and painted by Japanese artisans and finally sewn into a kimono. I removed the hand stitching, washed and prepared the fabric and sewed it into my trench coat design.

  Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
