Zach Jackson (American, XXI). "Seaside" acrylic on canvas, 2021. Signed and dated on verso. A striking abstract painting by contemporary artist Zach Jackson whose art explores the relationships between nature and technology. "Seaside" takes the viewer on an optical as well as spatial journey via geometry and radiant color. While the title "Seaside" suggests a coastal theme, the painting itself is non-objective (non-representational) and does not depict an identifiable place. Instead Jackson has created a magical abstract fusion of hard edge geometry and painterly pools of swirling pigments in which color, shapes, texture, and scale work together to wow the viewer. Interestingly, Jackson has joined two compositons in this piece by floating the central square composition (painted on a distinct canvas) upon the larger painted canvas. A fabulous piece by visionary artist Zach Jackson whose art has been featured in numerous museums and galleries in exhibitions with illuminating titles such as "Nu Geometry". Size: 60" L x 60" W (152.4 cm x 152.4 cm)
Artist Biography: "Zach Jackson is an abstract contemporary artist from St. Louis, Missouri. His work is heavily influenced by the concept of nature vs technology. Visually combining elements of science fiction and fantasy with biology, physics and quantum mechanics. These aesthetic components are complimented by and balanced with an interest in eastern psychology; exploring the inner depths of the mind while embracing paradox and chaos. He currently lives and works in Joshua Tree, California." (Ryan Joseph Gallery)
