Eastern Europe, Russia, Moscow, ca. 1896 to 1926 CE. From the heart of Moscow, two vessels of time and artistry whisper tales of imperial Russia. The larger, a silver embrace, bears the Kokoshnik mark from between 1908 and 1926. It unfurls a vibrant tapestry of cloisonné enamel, where floral arabesques in sapphire, ruby, and emerald hues dance across its surface, a garden of everlasting spring. Beside it, the more petite companion, its gilt silver surface glowing with a warm, honeyed light, carries the Kokoshnik mark from 1896 to 1908, possibly a creation from the workshop of Vasily Andreyev. Here, geometric precision reigns, a symphony of azure, pearl, and garnet tesserae, a testament to the meticulous hand of a master craftsman. Together, they are more than mere beakers; they are vessels of history, their intricate designs echoing the opulence and artistry of a bygone era.
