A fantastic ensemble of 3 manuscript pages, each featuring 3 to 5 lines of black and red Persian script and a central illustration in hues powder blue, seafoam green, marigold, crimson, maroon, cobalt, violet, burnt orange, brown, pink, beige, white, and black, all enveloped by a lovely gilt border. The first page displays 1 line of Persian above the illustration and 4 below. The central image shows a man and a woman seated in a house with 2 more women upstairs peering through a window and four men in the garden in front of them. Next, the second page shows 5 lines of script and a scene of rolling hills with 4 men and 2 women having a discussion in the foreground,1 figure stirring a cauldron surrounded by 3 others in the midground, and a lone figure hunting rams in the background. Most action-packed of the 3, the last page is adorned with 3 lines of calligraphy and a central hunting scene of 4 figures on horseback and 3 on foot amongst various animals, such as lions, dogs, deer, leopards, and a cat. Condition
Some minor stains and wrinkling to pages. Cracking and miniscule losses to paint on page with hunting scene. Otherwise, intact and excellent. All fit with modern frames with some light nicks to frames.
