McQueen, London and Stiefbold & Co., Berlin, 1893. Signed and dated by the artist in the plate. Also signed by the engraver in the plate. A wonderful lithograph in colors of an Isaac Cullin equestrian portrait. Cullin painted racehorses, horse races, and various equestrian events from 1881 to 1920. Isinglass (1890-1911) was a British racehorse whose career lasted from 1892 to 1895; he ran twelve times and emerged victorious in eleven races. Most notably, Isinglass won the British Triple Crown in 1893 and earned a record during his day for more than $235,000 which was eventually broken in 1952. Size: 22.25" W x 19" H (56.5 cm x 48.3 cm)
