Notation indicating printed by the artist at the lower left. Title handwritten in pencil at lower left corner. French artist Pierre Gatier's fascinating engraving depicting the French aircraft carrier Bearn - the only aircraft carrier produced by France until after World War II - in the sea with three planes in the air above and three more planes in the distance.
