Picasso's wonderful colored lithograph, this image used to create a poster for the "Peintures 1955-1956" exhibition at the Galerie Louise Leiris that took place March to April of 1957. Size of print: 15.5" L x 20.5" W (39.4 cm x 52.1 cm) Size of frame: 22.4" L x 27.125" W (56.9 cm x 68.9 cm)
Please note, this is an example of Picasso's original print. A larger poster, using this image, was printed as well. According to Fernand Mourlot's "Picasso Lithographs" entry number 299, "The text of this poster has not been executed in original lithograph, but has been drawn by the artist on a proof and printed in photolithography. 1500 posters on wove paper. 25 proofs of the lithograph on Arches paper reserved for the artist."

Lithograph has not been examined outside the frame but appears to be in very nice condition save slight waviness at upper end. It is hand signed in red pencil on the lower right.
