Born in Lille, France in 1887, Leon Danchin studied sculpture at Ecole des Beaux Art in Paris and was accepted by the Salon des Artists at the age of sixteen. Danchin devoted himself equally to various media - drawing, painting, watercolors, engravings as well as sculpture.

Condition
Strong plate mark. Hand signed and numbered. Slight creases to corners and edges of margin that do not interfere with the image. Engraving with watercolor finishing is very strong.
