Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. This is a lovely pair of 92.9% to 93% (equivalent to 22K+) gold earrings, each one comprised of the classic hoop form: a thick wire that resolves with a tightly coiled terminus and a hook and loop closure.
