A hand-carved red cedar mask, made by Tsungani (Fearon Smith Jr.), the younger brother of Chief Lelooska and chief of the Wiummasgum clan. The mask depicts an elderly woman. Copious incised lines representing wrinkles mark her advanced age. Finally, wispy white-blonde hair frames her face, imbuing the mask with even greater humanity. Size: 7.8" W x 8.4" H (19.8 cm x 21.3 cm); 10.8" H (27.4 cm) on included custom stand.
