Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean, Phoenician and Roman through early Islamic periods, ca. 400 BCE to 900 CE; Central Asia, Tibet, ca. mid 20th century CE. A beaded necklace and pair of earrings comprised of an interesting collection of ancient glass, faience, and vintage silver beads. The necklace has fifteen ancient beads secured in the center of a length of cord, with a hook clasp. Some beads are core formed with black and white color schemes, two beads are yellow with red circular eye motifs. Several vintage sterling silver discoid beads are strung close to the terminals and flank the large white faience pendant bead. The dangling earrings are comprised of three ancient glass beads with vintage floral spacers and 54% silver spherical Tibetan prayer beads. The earrings hang from modern stud earring posts.
