- Lot Description
Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Navajo, ca. late 20th century CE. A beautiful and wearable necklace by silver/goldsmith Danny Clark. It features triple strands of red glass beads, terminating in single strands of rounded turquoise beads, and a stunning 14-karat gold pendant of a bear in profile with an abstract heartline. The pendant also showcases two beautifully veined pear-shaped turquoise stones and a long red coral bead. The large bail and twin bead caps/closure are also in 14kt gold. The pendant is signed "D. Clark" and stamped "14kt." The necklace comes with a sales card/certificate of authenticity from Monument Valley Lodge and Trading Post. Size: 26" L x 1.625" W (66 cm x 4.1 cm)
Provenance: private Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, USA collection, acquired in Monument Valley, Arizona, USA ca. 1990
