- Lot Description
Italy, ca. 1980s to 1990s CE. An exquisite Murano glass floor lamp, attributed to Barovier & Toso, designed in the form of a palm tree. This luxurious piece features numerous hand-crafted Murano glass fronds and trunk scales, elegantly attached to a brass pole and base. The glass exhibits a mesmerizing opalescent, semi-transparent white hue, enhancing its ethereal quality. Fully electrified and functional, the lamp includes a black floor push-button switch marked 3A-125V. It consists of 42 glass components secured with screws: 16 large fronds and 26 trunk scales. A lightbulb is included. Size: 39" Diameter x 80" H (99.1 cm x 203.2 cm)
Please note that this item is heavy/oversized. Please inquire about shipping prior to bidding. The lamp is fully disassembled for shipping purposes and storage, and will require careful assembly by the buyer upon arrival.

#191330Stable pressure and stress internal fissures and imperfections to several glass pieces. Some scuffs and abrasions to the brass pole (which are covered by the glass), and some indentations to base. Vintage electrical wire and functional as a lamp. Wiring can probably be updated to a modern wiring if desired. This piece will require assembly.Condition
