Near East, Iran (Persia), Seljuq Empire, ca. 11th to 12th century CE. A green glazed Amol or sgraffito pottery bowl with a deep basin and short foot. The interior features incised geometric motifs, including cross-hatching, zigzags, dots, and lobes, likely inspired by textile patterns. The surface is coated with a thick slip and finished with a transparent glaze, with copper oxide added to achieve the distinctive green hue. Size: 8.75" Diameter x 3.75" H (22.2 cm x 9.5 cm)
