A pair of original theatrical release color lithograph posters including: "Turn Off the Moon" (1937) printed by Lip & Ba, New York and "The Big Bluff" (1933) printed by Geo. Schmitt & Co, Brooklyn, New York. "Turn Off the Moon" was an American comedy written by Mildred Harrington, Marguerite Roberts, Paul Gerard Smith, and Harlan Ware and directed by Lewis Seiler. It was released by Paramount Pictures in 1937 and starred Charlie Ruggles, Eleanore Whitney, Johnny Downs, Kenny Baker, Phil Harris, and Ben Blue - several of whom are named on this original poster which is quite vibrant in its presentation and teases, "Fun Galore! In this Laugh Hit!". "The Big Bluff" was written and directed by Reginald Denny. It was released by Tower Productions in 1933 and remade into a 1955 film noir piece. The original production starred Reginald Denny, Claudia Dell, Cyril Chadwick, Jed Prouty, and Donald Keith as listed on the poster. A lively piece of cinema history with fabulous Art Deco inspired graphics. Size: 26.25" W x 40.125" H (66.7 cm x 101.9 cm)

Condition
Both posters have a cellophane wrapping and cardboard backing that easily can be removed. Both have expected fold marks and some wear commensurate with age. Neither has been examined outside of the wrapping, but it appears that the "Turn Off the Moon" poster has a canvas backing as well.
