A massive shell fossil from the Tridacna genus, this extraordinary specimen represents one of the largest known bivalve species to have ever existed. Tridacna clams, often referred to as "giant clams," have been part of the Earth’s marine ecosystem for millions of years. When alive, these clams thrived among coral reefs in shallow waters and are often found in limestone quarries today. Highly prized by collectors for their size and preservation, giant clam shells have been utilized in various cultures throughout history. Today, some enthusiasts repurpose these impressive fossils as striking and luxurious bathroom sinks! Size: 38" L x 22" W x 15" H (96.5 cm x 55.9 cm x 38.1 cm)
