American or European, ca. mid 20th century. A wonderful bust-length graphite drawing of a topless young man. The sitter presents with an attractive visage comprised of wide open eyes, angular brows, an aquiline nose, chiseled bone structure, an aquiline nose, full lips, and a dimpled chin - and gazes dreamily toward his right. His torso is lean and athletically muscular. There is an inscription at the lower right that is difficult to discern, but seems to read, "'Lennie' / Christmas / Jimmy".
