Condition
"The Romance of France" trio of volumes and "The Romance of Spain" are all in very nice condition and very readable with limited foxing and wear to edges of the covers. "The Old English Baron: A Gothic Story" is in poor condition: its binding is torn in half, it is missing the back half of the book, it is also missing all the title pages, and the first page is partially torn away. However, what remains is readable. "Remarkable Events" has extensive foxing and has been rebound, but is readable. All of these books have handwritten, penciled notes. Winterbotham's book is missing its cover, with losses to the page edges and foxing throughout, but it is still readable. The unprotected back page has small areas of inactive insect damage. "A Christmas Carol" is in nice condition with limited foxing and wear to the cover commensurate with age, notably bent corners. It is very readable.
