A beautiful cast bronze decorative panel featuring a icon-like image of Saint John Chrysostom, Archibishop of Constantinople, in low relief. He stands, with a Bible in one hand at his chest and his other hand raised in benediction. He wears sumptuous vestments, including a cross-adorned omophorion and a large cross-shaped pendant at his chest - styles of depiction still seen in modern icons of the saint. Greek letters denoting his name are visible to either side of his head. Four sharp spikes project from the back of the panel for attachment, perhaps to the front of a holy book or a wall.
