- Lot Description
Europe, Switzerland, ca. 21st century CE. A luxury Breitling watch set with 40 diamonds around the bezel, Super Avenger model, certified chronometer, reference number: A13370 (A reference number is associated with each Breitling model). Water resistant 30 ATM (300 meter / 1000 feet). Black dial with 3 sub-dials, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal dial face, and a silver-tone stainless steel band with a folding clasp. Comes with soft Breitling zipper storage box. Size of dial case: 1.99" Diameter (5.1 cm); band: 7" L x 0.9" W (17.8 cm x 2.3 cm)
From the official Breitling website: A chronometer is a watch that has obtained a certification by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres - COSC). To achieve this certification, the movement of the watch must successfully pass specific precision tests in different positions and at different temperatures, over a 15-day period. The standards set by the COSC allow a maximum average deviation of: -4 to +6 seconds per day for mechanical watches and +/- 0.07 seconds per day for quartz watches. The movements of all current Breitling watches have earned this certification."
