North America, Native American, Mississippian Culture, ca. 1000 to 1600 CE. A wonderful collection of 40 shell beads and 1 stone arrowhead. Boasting hues of cream, caramel, and chocolate brown, the shell beads are of varying forms and sizes with some strung on strands. They come from a diverse range of shells from clam to conch. Alternatively, the arrowhead has been hand-knapped from a white stone and exhibits a serrated blade, an upward angled shoulder, and an expanding stem. Size (of largest): 6.5" L x 1.75" in diameter (16.5 cm x 4.4 cm)

Condition
All beads are ancient, but strands are modern. Chips, nicks, and abrasions to all, commensurate with age. Minor losses to some. Otherwise, all are very nice with light earthen deposits.
