A collection of 4 prehistoric items including a tiger eye stone, mammoth ivory beads and fur, and a Spinosaurus tooth. The tiger eye is sizable and gorgeous type of chatoyant quartz gemstone that has a stunning coloration and graining that creates the chatoyancy, or "cat eye effect," the reflective quality. The bracelet is comprised of 23 spherical beads carved from fossilized mammoth tusk, drilled, and strung on an elastic thread that enables them to stretch over the hand to fit a variety of wrist sizes. A case contains a tuft of course, dark-brown woolly mammoth hair that was preserved in the permafrost! Last is a fossilized tooth from a Spinosaurus with a rich umber enamel and beige root and interior layers with coarse sand particles. Condition
Stable fissures on tooth and losses to enamel and surface abrasions. Tiger eye is cut and polished to a glassy surface on all sides. Bracelet beads are carved and polished in modern times and strung on elastic cord as wearable bracelet. Hairs are contained in an acrylic case.
