Yoshitoshi Mori (Japanese, 1898-1992). A beautiful ensemble of four Japanese woodblock prints on heavy rice paper by Japanese artist and printmaker Yoshitoshi Mori. Each composition depicts a different festival scene and is rendered with Yoshitoshi's striking penchant for elegant line work and subtle earth tone hues. Each one is signed with the artist's red seal and set in custom double mattes of red and cream hues as well as custom black wooden frames under glass, making for an attractive presentation. Condition
Woodblocks have not been examined outside the frames but appear to be in overall very good condition. All have been professionally framed. Frames are also very nice save a few scuffs to the finish as shown. Wired for suspension and ready to hang.
