Native American, United States, Archaic to Woodland period, ca. 4000 to 1800 CE. (6000 to 200 BP). A great collection of 37 petite hand-knapped stone projectile points. A few are made from glassy obsidian, but most are a lovely chert stone. The collection has a great array of forms which include: Caraway, Moran, Long Level, Erie, Pisgah, Sand Mountain, Washita, Rose Springs, Sequoyah, McCurtain, Wallula, Lewis, Avonlea, Alba, Washita, Shadid, Plains Triangular, Sierra Desert, Homan, Scallorn, Livermore, Hayes, Rockwall, Rose Springs Stemmed, Rose Springs Corner Notched, Gunther, Glendo, and Collins.
