This page contains the lines and music for cantus number 6427, which is a responsory hymn sang on the 5th Sunday of Lent or Passion Sunday and roughly translates to, "My God, from out of the hands of the wicked and hands of the unjust you are my patience." The other canti on this page are unidentifiable. Note the lovely details that make anthropomorphic designs out of the lettering throughout this page. Size (of largest): 15.125" W x 21.625" H (38.4 cm x 54.9 cm); Size (of case): 18.75" W x 24.875" H (47.6 cm x 63.2 cm)
The second page contains a collection of hymns that are not normally associated with any feast day, including a gradual, a responsory, and a tract verse sung by both the mass and office of cantus numbers 7661, G01475, G02808, and 1442. Last, the third page is comprised of 3 responsory and responsory verse hymnals sung on Holy Saturday - the Saturday before Easter. These hymns include cantus numbers 6057b, 6065, and 6065b. These last 2 pages contain elaborate embellishments decorating the letters that begin each hymn.
