Native American, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Paleo Indians to Early Woodlands Period, ca. 13000 to 500 BCE (15,000 to 2,500 BP). A handsome assemblage of 21 hand-knapped stone arrowheads boasting various shades of toffee, chestnut, russet, puce, ash grey, charcoal grey, cream, taupe, and black. These fascinating projectile points range greatly in shape, presenting triangular auriculate, side notch, triangular bifurcated, triangular expanding stem, triangular corner notch, triangular stemmed, auriculate lanceolate, lanceolate, triangular side notch, triangular fluted, and stemmed forms. They fall into the classification of the following types: Santa Fe, Hardaway, St. Albans, Nansemond, Palmer, Kirk Stemmed, Beaver Lake, Steubenville, Decatur, Thebes, Guilford, Kirk, Cave Springs, Kirk Stemmed, Rowan, Appomattox River, Harpeth River, and MacCorkle.
