Native American, North America, ca. 20th century. An impressive trio of artifacts: a pouch, an arrow, and a beaded necklace. Hand-sewn from tan-hued fabric, the pretty pouch presents a slender strap and a rectangular form adorned with glass beads in shades of periwinkle, cyan, crimson, royal blue, and lemon. Alternatively, the wooden arrow exhibits a lengthy form with brown feather fletching, perhaps from a turkey, at one side and a petite, red stone point at the other, all attached via a thin strand of animal hide. Last, the lovely necklace is comprised of dozens of glass trade beads known as Russian blue beads strung onto a strand of twisted vegetal fiber. The multi-faceted beads boast a wide range of blue hues, spanning from turquoise to steel blue to sapphire. Size of largest (arrow): 29.2" L x 1.5" W (74.2 cm x 3.8 cm); (necklace): 30.4" L (77.2 cm); (beads): 0.4" L x 0.4" W (1 cm x 1 cm); (frame): 47.8" L x 7.2" W (121.4 cm x 18.3 cm)

Fraying and fading to surface of purse fabric. Liberal remains of feather on arrow. Expected nicks and abrasions to beads. Otherwise, all are intact with nice patina. Great remaining pigments to beads. All are set in a modern wood and glass frame.
