Northwestern Europe or North America, Great Britain, or United States, Victorian to Edwardian era, ca. 19th to early 20th century. A charming collection of four pairs of children's (probably toddler sized) shoes made from leather and fabric with button closures. The shoes are all constructed in a similar manner with a leather sole, leather toe and heel caps, and a high-top ankle cover with button closures running down the side. These adorable shoes have been worn, with evidence of wearing on the soles, and one pair appears to have an old repair and was outfitted with a new sole. Size largest pair: 5" L x 2" W x 2.5" H (12.7 cm x 5.1 cm x 6.4 cm); smallest pair: Size: 4.75" L x 1.875" W x 3" H (12.1 cm x 4.8 cm x 7.6 cm)
