This is a handsome and wearable pair of paste glass cameos set into a high quality 74% to 88.5% gold (equivalent to 17K+ to 21K+) settings as wearable cufflinks! The opaque vermilion cameos are both of a Classical-style soldier in profile, carved in high relief with undercut peripheries. The bearded busts face to the left and right - perfectly highlighting the straight, Grecian nose and curly beard under a plumed helmet. The cameos are set in ovoid bezels with a delicate filigree and granulated settings mounted upon a post and crescent shaped foot.
